Fillable PDF Form: How to remove the yellow banner at the top of the screen when opening a PDF form?

I’ve encountered an issue when downloading a PDF version of my form using the “Open PDF Editor” feature in Jotform. Upon opening the downloaded form, a persistent yellow banner appears at the top with the message: “In order to submit this form, you should open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader.”

This banner is not only unnecessary for my purposes but also detracts from the form’s professional appearance. I’m looking for a way to remove or disable this banner from the downloaded PDF version. Has anyone else faced this challenge and found a solution?

Any guidance on how to achieve a clean, banner-free PDF form would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having issues with your downloaded PDF. The yellow banner you're seeing is generated by your browser's PDF viewer, particularly noticeable on Mozilla Firefox. However, it's not a part of the actual fillable PDF form itself. A fillable PDF form contains genuine form fields, but only certain PDF editors fully support this format. If you open the form in Adobe Acrobat, a PDF editor that fully supports fillable forms, you won't encounter this banner.
