Jotform Sign: Can't edit signed submissions

I created a burn permit request from. I'm trying to be able to edit the form so I can sign it to approve the burn permit. I'm unable to due to the form already being sign by the requester. How can I fix this.

Thanks for reaching out to JotForm Support. I'm sorry you're having trouble editing with this. Unfortunately, it's not possible to edit a submission that has Jotform Sign enabled. If you plan to edit the submissions before approving them, you may consider disabling Jotform Sign automation on your form. It's really easy to do, let me show you how:

• In Form builder, click on Settings and select Jotform Sign on the Sidebar.
• Look for Enable Jotform Sign Automation and toggle it Off.

That's it. Note that you can still collect regular e-signature even when Jotform Sign is disabled. You can also edit submissions afterward.
