Asked by guest_23104568737053 on November 07, 2012 at 08:12 AM

i am at loss I have posted a question but have not received any response. i have to design three forms

The one is a accommodation form that consists of dates and towns and provinces. The user choose the date available, the province and automatically it shows the province. The second one is a registration form where the user registers it establishment, the third one is a quotation based where the user fill in a form to acquire tracking of a vehicle

The design of the form is naturally on Jotform, what i don't understand is how to add the mysql and myphp details into the form. I have no idea where to start and what to start with first and how to do it.

    Please can anyone help me!!!!

Hello, I apologize that nobody has responded to a previous response if that is the case. Was this in another thread and if so where? Or was this emailed to us with the contact us form?

Based on what you are stating about the 3 forms it sounds like you have them designed pretty much and you are mainly looking to integrate MySQL and PHP into it. We do allow submissions to be submitted to your MySQL using PHP and you can read more about doing that in this guide here http://www.jotform.com/help/126-How-to-Insert-Update-Submissions-to-Your-MySQL-Database-Using-PHP. If I've misunderstood you and that is not what you are trying to achieve could you please explain more as to your idea on how you would like to implement this with your 3 forms and we will try to help you out as best we can.

Thank you for your reply I've managed to sort out the mysql part! I am still unsure how the log in / password is integrated once the person registers on the site. once he is registered his details are saved on the database how do i then create a log in with Jotform to enable that user to log in?

This once I have not sorted out: I have googled everywhere for a list of provinces and cities, I am staying in South Africa. I need to create a dependent drop list which first shows the province and then the city in that province, I cannot find anywhere such codes and I do know know how to add them. I am still knew to his. Is there a solution?

    Hi,

Please find my answers below each of your question.

    - I believe that LOGIN forms is not permitted in Jotform. I think you cannot accomplish such with our form builder. I suggest you to Google a login/logout scripts or how to create them.

This once I have not sorted out: I have googled everywhere for a list of provinces and cities, I am staying in South Africa. -You may want to check this Google Search output for the list of South Africa Provinces. You can then use our Conditional Logic to show cities when a province is selected. Please try to search and create and let us know for your output so we can check and assist you to make it possible.

    Thank you.
