Form field within Free text (HTML)

Asked by rhf on November 07, 2012 at 04:42 PM

Is it possible to have a from field within the Free text tool?

    For example:

I, [full name form field], agreee to such and such on this day [date form field] of this month [month form field], of this year [year form field].

Then when submitted it will look like:

I, Suzie Q, agree to such and such on this day Monday of this month May, of this year 2012.

I've figured it out, thank you. I grabbed the source code and put it in the html editor for anyone else who might be wondering:)

You can actually put a whole form inside the Free Text Html. Test this form.

Be warned though. Any fields within the Free text will NOT be included in the submissions of the main form.

This had cause confusion before and lost of data. If your submit button is on the Main form, when you submit this form, those fields with input within the Free text html field will not be included in submissions. The free text html is just that -- a free text. When submitted, it will contain nothing but a free text.

    Hope this information also help.
