Can I directly download all submitted files from one Form?

Asked by anstalt on November 08, 2012 at 04:20 AM

    Hi,

we have successfully created a from using jotfom. It's a great tool! Now, we are having nearly 200 submission and I would like to know whether there is a way to directly download a folder containing all submitted files? I don't mean the form content rather than uploaded files. They are for now on your servers – I guess.

    Thanks for an answer

    Hi Moritz,

Unfortunately, no. It could have been better if the form with the upload field had been integrated from the begining either to Dropbox, Google drive, or FTP -- you can then have means to download all at once the submissions uploaded files from those interface.

The 3 integrations mentioned, -- if you do the integration now, will only start storing on the succeeding submissions upload. It will not carry the previous uploaded files prior to integration.

The option I can suggest is to integrate the form to Google Docs spreadsheet. Doing so, will provide you the list of links for the uploaded files in the form. This will make it easier to 'manually download' the files, (or automate also via some scripts that can pull the files via the links lists.)

Hope this help. Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

    Thanks.
