    In my "CLONED Kitty Profile Form I copied and pasted a hyperlink to my notification email so that when I receive an email, I will also have a link there that i should be able to pull it up in a pdf format. I just went by the instructions that I searched for on this forum and it did put the link in for me. Then I pulled up my email account. The link is there so I clicked on it but it wouldnt pull up the pdf form. I do have adobe reader. Could someone check my email notification in my email alert and check out the link etc. This is what it says when I try to pull up the pdf link from in my email...

    "We couldn't find the submission you are looking for on our servers"

    Here is my cloned form http://www.jotform.com/?formID=23135025852144

    Thanks,

    Laurie

    Hello Laurie,

    There recently seemed to have had changes on the getting of PDF-based submissions.  Please do change your PDF link on your email alert(s) to this:

    http://www.jotform.me/server.php?action=getSubmissionPDF&sid={id}&formID=23135025852144

    Please let us know if you have other questions or concerns.

    Thanks.

    Sorry about that, your link should be to www.jotform.com, not jotform.me.  Can you please try that again after the change?

    Thanks.

    I changed it to .com but it still says the same thing. Can you see if there is anything else wrong with it? We are getting closer, I think :)

    Thanks,

    Laurie

    I must be doing something wrong, this one doesnt seem to be working for me either. Thats O.K. It looks like I can get the submissions in a pdf form if I Click on "submissions" and then "pdf". I didnt see that before. It also looks like I can reply to my customer and or print the pdf. I really dont even need to check my email if I just keep your site up I should be able to...

    1. Get my submission (which) is basically my email

    2. Click on PDF to print it out in pdf format

    3. Send my customer a reply rite from there. I didnt check but hopefully I can write something to my customer as well.

     Am I correct on this?

    Thanks, Laurie

    Thanks,

    Laurie

    Hi Laurie,

    All was correct. But I didn't notice or receive any test submissions from you to my form. Please try so you can check how it works and to prove you that it's working.

    I can do the changes or I can put this things to your Auto Responder and Notifications, just let me have your authorization.

    Or, just copy this to your Auto Responder or Notifications:

    http://www.jotform.com/server.php?action=getSubmissionPDF&sid={id}

    Thanks

    Hi Laurie,

    I forgot to mention something about your question no. 3;

    3. Send my customer a reply rite from there. I didnt check but hopefully I can write something to my customer as well.

    -To be able to reply directly from your mail account to your form submissions, you need to set your form notifications "Reply-To Email" to "Email" field;

    So, this require you to have an Email Field to your form.

    I hope you find this information useful.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    I checked out your form and it does work. The only thing I can see differently is yours has a form # on the end of the hyperlink. I did try that as well from someone else responding.

    The email drop down box does'nt have "email" as an option. My options are strange. They are part of the questions in my form.

    I would be glad to have you help me out with providing my forms with this hyperlink. The only problems is that I have 5 forms to enter it in. I also have clones but if you want to add the hyperlink pdf option to my original forms and if all is well. I can delete out my clones and duplicate the ones you change to have new clones to each of my forms with the hyperlinks.

    Do you still want to do this for me? Ha

    Thanks, Laurie

    Hi Laurie,

    This is so easy, you just need to copy and paste this link to your form Notifications or Auto Responder;

    http://www.jotform.com/server.php?action=getSubmissionPDF&sid={id}

    You do not need to enter a form submission ID because the variable {id} at the end of the hyperlink will generate it for you after the submissions.

    Please try :)

    Thanks

    I have copied and paste it 3 times now in both my notification and auto responder. I have it as a last line. The link is also showing up on my test email. Its just when I click on it to view it, I get this as a pop up "We couldnt find the submission you are looking for on our servers."

    The link that I copied is centered rite below by last question and answer in my table.

    Thanks, Laurie

    http://www.jotform.com/server.php?action=getSubmissionPDF&sid={id}

    I copied my link from my actual email account.

    I wonder if it could have something to do with when I highlight it and then click the "hyperlink icon",to insert,  it underlines all my questions and answers on my email alert table. I have to highlight all the rest and then use the "unlink" icon so that they are not included. Just a thought. I wouldnt think so since I unlinked them before sending my test email.

    Also I dont have this form on my website yet. Could that be the reason. Dont know Im clueless.

    Thanks,

    Laurie

    @Laurie

    Hi, you are probably referring to this:

    "When I am in the notification email alerts, 1 of my forms has "Sender Name: and Sender Email. "

    is an Autoresponder Email

    "Then another one of my forms has those 2 PLUS a "Reply to email:"

    is a Notification Email

    Hope this help. Please inform us if you have any other inquiry.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for all your help. I needed to have a question asking the customer for their email address in a couple of my forms. Once I added that to the forms it cleared the matter up for me. Now there is just a sender name and sender email in all of them.

    Thanks again,

    Laurie
