Hi, we use Jotform as a signup sheet for out events and was wondering how an event that has reached capacity still receive submissions. People we're able to bypass the event being at capacity by not engaging certain prompts.

    Hi Nature_Collective,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m sorry you're having difficulties with this. Can you explain a bit more about the issue, so I can get a better idea of what's happening? Can you tell us how you set the limit? I saw that you're using the Inventory widget, and it's not set to required. Take note that users can still submit your form even if they don't fill out the Inventory widget, as it's not set as required. To fix the issue, you can set your Inventory widget as required. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, hover your mouse over your Inventory widget, and right-click on your mouse.
    2. Click on Require.

Form has reached its limit, but users can still submit entries Screenshot 20

That's it. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hi Gian,

Thank you for your discovering the cause and for the help resolving this issue. I've went through and made the edits to our Inventory Widget as you have suggested, . Hopefully this solves the issues that we have encountered moving forward.

Thank you for all your help.
