How to obtain the attendance total?

Good Afternoon!

We use a form for tracking RSVP's/attendance to a weekly event at our church and was just curious if there is an option for being able to keep track of how many people sign up as opposed to just tracking total number of submissions?

e.g -- Smith Family signs up (1 submission), one of the fields asks how many people are coming and they answer 4. Is there a way to track the number of people coming separately? Is there a specific type of field we should choose to do this?

You can use the submission counter widget. This widget automatically checks checks your submission and informs the user that how many submission has been completed.

Probably the close option would be downloading your submissions as Excel file to perform the sum: https://support.jotform.com/help/44-How-to-Export-Form-Data-to-Excel

Pleas note that you will need to remove the plus sign from them "5+" option, or they won't add up.
