PayPal Business integration not connecting form

I updated my payments settings with my PayPal Business Account and the modal says it was connected correctly. I see it showing as connected in my payment settings. But then, the Connection dies and indicates I need to connect with PayPal again.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching to Jotform Support. There's a PayPal Payment Form in your account, but I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to, since the one in your screenshot is a Smart PDF Form.

When you click on the Connect button, then you logged in to your PayPal Business account, there's a Return to Jotform Store button in the modal that you click to exit the window and direct you back to your form. If it's still not connecting on your end, try to log out from your account, clear the browser cache and site data, and then log back to try again.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks for the reply.

I did get the modal that had the button to return to Jotform which I clicked and it worked as expected and told the integration was successful. However, when I get back to my form in edit mode, I see the button in the right side of the screen for my payment settings now shows "Connected", as I would expect. But then, if move around the application, the PayPal Connection seems to disengage and the form in edit mode says in red to "update my payment settings", which I obviously had just done.

Do I need to actively log into my PayPal account and accept the integration? I did that as part of the integration flow, but I never directly went into my PayPal account to activate the integration, if I needed to.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for getting back to us. After you're back to your form, click on the Connect button on the bottom-right of the page. That will save the changes you made and continue having our form connected to PayPal. Refer to the image below:

You don't need to be logged in to PayPal every time you use your form. You're only asked to log in once to connect your form to PayPal. But I still suggest clearing your browser cache while logged out from your Jotform account before you try again.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Ah. I see. Looks like I didn't click that "continue" button at the bottom as you are indicating. I thought the integration was complete.

    Ok, make sense.

Thanks very much for your exceptional support.

    Chris
