twice now in the last month I have had clietns fill in and say they submitted my form and I have not received anythng on my end....... can you kindly check what is going on ?

Please try to setup your form notifications into something like this;

No. I have check your form before giving you the solution. The above screenshot isn't your current settings, please do the same so you can make the submissions notifications to go through your email address.
Set you form notifications "Sender Name" to Full Name field of your form
Set you form notifications "Sender Email" to firstname.lastname@example.org
Set you form notifications "Reply-to Email" to Email field of your form
-All of this can be configured by clicking on each dropdown options and selecting them accordingly.
