PageSpeed Insight: Enhance iFrame code for better LCP results

    Hello,

I´m using a workaround solution suggested by you in order to collect data from 2 different forms in my LP. In the first form I do collect basic data (e-mail) and then move the customer to the next one where i do collect more. Since then my LCP results has been impacted a lot, dropped from 97 to 61.

I´d like to enhance the iFrame code I´m using to display my Jotform form in my landing page.

    Thank you

Hello, in fact I dont need a customization. The problem is when i add jotform into my site, the LPC load is highly increased. How to solve?

    Hello Wagner,

It sounds like integrating a second form on your landing page is causing a significant impact on your LCP metric and loading times. Here are a few steps you can take to address this issue:

    1. Optimize Form Loading: Check if there are any unnecessary scripts or large elements in your second form that are causing slow loading times. Streamline the form's design and functionality to reduce its impact on page loading.
    2. Asynchronous Loading: Consider loading the form asynchronously using JavaScript. This way, it won't block other elements on the page from loading, helping to improve overall performance.
    3. Lazy Loading: Implement lazy loading for the form or its elements. Lazy loading defers the loading of non-critical resources until they are needed, which can significantly improve initial page load times.
    4. Caching: Utilize browser caching and server-side caching for static resources related to the form. This can reduce server requests and improve load times for returning visitors.
    5. CDN Integration: If feasible, use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to serve form-related assets from servers closer to your visitors, reducing latency and improving load times.
    6. Optimize Images and Media: If your form includes images or media, optimize them for web use to reduce their file sizes without compromising quality.

By implementing these optimizations, you can mitigate the impact of adding a second form to your landing page on performance metrics like LPC while collecting the necessary data from your visitors.
