    Hi Scott,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it isn't currently possible to redirect the user to a different page after signing the document. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

In the meantime, you can use a form and enable the Jotform Sign Automation on it so that you can get a submission audit trail just like in Sign Document. With this, you can redirect the user to another page after submitting the form. This guide will show you how to do it.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

No I was trying the suggestion of Jotform sign automation. I didn’t know how to do it. Do you add to a form or to my sign document?

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for getting back to us and for the clarification. Yes, you'll need to create a regular form first, and add a Signature field to get signatures from your form fillers. Then, use the 'Redirect to an external link after submission' feature on the Thank You Page to redirect the form fillers to a different page after submitting the form. Let me walk you through it:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on Create Form in the upper-left corner of the page. You can then choose if you want to start from scratch, use a template or import a form.
    2. Select Classic Form.
    3. In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element in the upper-left corner, and add the fields or elements that you need.
    4. The Signature field can be found under the Basic tab. Just click on it, or drag and drop it onto the form.

Next, let's set up the 'Thank You' page to redirect form fillers to an external link after submission:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the upper part of the page.
    2. Go to Thank You Page, and select Redirect to an external link after submission.
    3. Enter the URL of the page where you want them to be redirected into the Enter URL field.

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for getting back to us. You cannot add regular forms to your Sign Documents. If you want, you can turn your document into a Smart PDF Form, instead of a Sign Document Form. Jotform makes it easy to integrate your PDF files using Smart PDF Forms. Let me walk you through it:

    1. Click the Create Form button on your My Forms page.
    2. Choose Import Form and then Import PDF Form.
    3. Now, upload your PDF file. Is there a way to redirect the signer after they finish the signing the document? Image 1 Screenshot 30
    4. Add the necessary fields and customize them using the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.

Sometimes, the fields that are automatically created in the PDF file will be in the wrong place. If that happens, you'll have to move and resize the fields.

Adding the Signature Element to your Smart PDF Form is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down and drag and drop the Signature element to your form.
    3. Position the connected signature field on the original PDF form.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
