Once I create an app, which I did, are the changes that I make to the form supposed to sync with the app? Let me explain. I created a form, and then I went to the top and clicked on "App Builder". It automatically turned my form into an app, which I thought was really cool. But then I made a change to the document, and it didn't sync with the app.
I was wondering if I have to change a particular setting or something so that the app will reflect the changes that I constantly am making

Hi genevaheights,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry that you're having difficulties with this. Any changes made to either the Form Builder or App Builder should also reflect on the App immediately. Did you open the app using the Jotform Mobile App? If the data is not synced automatically, you can use the Sync Your Data option in the app to do it. Let me show you how to do it:
- In the Jotform App on the related mobile device, tap on the Gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- Next, tap on the Sync Your Data option.
I've cleared your form caches to fix any cache-related issues. Can you try it again?
Keep us updated and let us know how it goes.

app on my laptop. After I created the app it asked my if I wanted to scan
the qr code and view it on my phone. I did that. When I opened it up in my
phone, a prompt then came up and asked me if I wanted to "add it to my home
screen". I said yes. I now have that particular document, or app, added to
my home screen. What I am saying is that as that document changes, or as I
make changes in that document using my laptop, those changes are not
showing up in the app that I added to my phones home screen.

Hi genevaheights,
Thanks for getting back to us. I’m really sorry that this is happening. As per my understanding, you basically created an app on your laptop or desktop, and after you finished, you scanned the QR code using your mobile phone to install or add it to your mobile home screen. But any changes you make to your app builder using your laptop/desktop are not reflected in the installed app on your phone.
I created a demo app and I was able to create the app and install it on my mobile phone to see if I would encounter any issues. and when I made changes in the app builder, it reflected in my app on my phone. See the sample screen casts below:
After I created the demo app I scanned the QR code and added it to my phone home screen.
Then I made changes to the app builder.
And the changes reflect on my phone.
Have you tried to relaunch the app you added on your mobile phone and see if the changes reflects? Also, if it is possible to share with us your app URL, we can do more testing on our end.
Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.
