How do I populate the original PDF with their selected answer in Smart PDF Form?

I have imported a PDFword document that is a table and provides columns to make choices. I can't figure out how to make the choices fillable so clients could place an x in the box of their choice. Ive tried importing it with text boxes inserted into the table fields but they don't show up as fillable. Ive tried adding elements but each one has to be created seperately and this is too time consuming.

    Hi Deborah,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, you will need to create a form element for each item and map them to your original PDF to populate them with their selected answer. You may use the Single Choice element for each item or an Input Table element in the PDF. Here's how to do it:

    1. Click the Add Form Element in the top left corner of Form Builder.

    3. In the Basic tab, drag and drop the Single Choice element to add it to your form.
    4. Set the Field Label and the options in the Single Choice field.
    5. Then, map the options in the original PDF.
