How can I get more consistency with image upload results?

    Hi guys,

I really love Jotform and hope to not need to change to another form creator.

I created a form to receive pictures and found that sometimes the picture appears correctly as uploaded and sometimes it shows up as a grey image only.

It worked in the beginning but then failed. There was a lot of inconsistency of whether it worked or not.

I did a short test and found that it is really inconsistent.

I used my iPhone 7 for this experiment and used 3 different widget for image uploading and exported results via gmail or google drive.

"1" means image appeared correctly. "0" means the image came out to just be grey.

Why does this happen? All other variables were controlled.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience the issue is causing you.

The issue should be temporary and we have already made our developers aware of it.

I created a clone version of the form you shared with us and made test submissions.

I don't have an iPhone to test the issue but I wasn't able to reproduce the issue that was described on my Android device as images were uploaded correctly in all upload fields on the form.

Images were shown correctly (not gray or cut off) on the email notification I received, the PDF copy of submissions, and on Google Drive.

About the image you shared with us, can you tell us where was that taken?

Although we haven't received any update from our developers that the issue is already fixed, can you make another test and confirm that the issue you described still persists on your end, please?

We will wait for your response.
