    Hi Support,

I am having difficulty with one of my forms.  https://www.jotform.com/build/81490601636859#preview

My assistant in the philippines is doing some testing when she clicks submit in the jotform is sent to the page shown in the screen shot.

If she keeps going back and redoing the form it eventually works.

Appreciate any ideas.  I have not yet had it happen at my end.

    Thanks

    Hello,

When I submitted your form, it worked correctly. I couldn't replicate this issue. Can you give us more details about this issue, for example, which browser was used and did you try another browser? If you did, did you see the same issue again? If you give us more details, we will help better.

We will be waiting for your response.

    Thank you.

There does seem to be some kind of error.

Zapier have sent a message that says:

    Zap Alert!

We ran into a problem with one of your Zaps:

had 1 error (edit this Zap)

    Error Message:

server IP address could not be found error Image 10 JotForm: Scripting payload too large (6530451 bytes but max is 6291456 bytes).

    What Does This Mean?

Zapier generates an error any time we detect something wrong with the way your Zap is expected to work. This could be a problem with the way your Zap was initially set up, or related to a specific App.

    Hi,

I also notice that the last 3 submissions on jotform yesterday did not trigger any event in webmerge.

Notice above it says: JotForm: Scripting payload too large (6530451 bytes but max is 6291456 bytes).

So, you are using zappier to integrate JotForm with Webmerge? If that is correct, please contact zapier support to check that issue further.

    Hi David,

This is the response from Zapier.  It is not really a solution to clone the form as this will mean setting up a new zap each time.  Are you aware of wht the Jotform app limitation is?

I have asked Zapier if there is another solution.

    Hey again Joseph,

Good to hear back from you on this -- ah, thanks for the pointer, super helpful!

I'll admit that that is a very confusing error but it could happen due to the JotForm app on Zapier having a limitation in it. I have seen this surface in the past for other users for the "New Submission" trigger after it pulls in data regarding your account. The Zap seems to have worked perfectly until this error surfaces. Fortunately, users have been able to get rid of this error with this workaround:

Would you be willing to copy the Form as it exists, re-name it, and then select it from the Edit Options page and then use that in conjunction with Zapier instead of the existing one? Please let me know if it does the trick for you!

Also, are the three missing submissions that you were talking about related to the error message that you shared? Or do these submissions not surface in your Task History at all? If they didn't show up in History, would you be so kind as to send me a screenshot of the responses to one of the form submissions? That'll help me narrow down my queries in the backend.

    Cheers,

    Hello,

What is being suggested is to create a new form by cloning the existing one. Then replacing the form with the new one in the Zapier integration. This could sort out the issue.

Refer to this guide on cloning your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/27-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-Your-Account

Try that and let us know how it goes so we can assist further.

    Thanks

    Hi,

This is not a workable solution as there is several hours work involved in reconnecting jotform and webmerge using zapier.

I would be prepared to do this once but not on an ongoing basis without knowing how often the failure will occur and what causes it.

If you can help please let me know.  The problem seems to be specific to jotform only.

    Hello,

The reason for the workaround is that there might be something in the form that causes for it to happen like that and it can be form specific; hence, the solution of cloning the form and using the cloned form for integration. Please note also that the solution, should it work, would mean that it is a one-time activity and should not happen again once you are able to make the integration work.

In addition, will be it alright if we make test submissions on your form which has the integration as well so we can make comparisons on what might be the cause for it?

    Thanks.
