Code not showing up with HTML report in updated version

Asked by floydpr on November 21, 2012 at 08:45 AM

It seems in the new version it does not give you the html code when you make an HTML report. How do I get the code? Actually, I already have the form I made displaying results on the site, but made a change and want to change the code. I tried to edit the original report, but every time I click on it it shows me the form but does not let me edit which fields I want to display.

    Please help.

Also, the categories are showing up in the middle of the form results on the web page. Why is that?

I believe you should click the small eye icon that appears when you hover on the report name to edit the report.

I understand that this is counter-intuitive, especially since in the old MyForms, clicking the magnifying glass button will preview the report, while clicking the actual report name will bring up the report editing screen.

It is true that in the new interface, HTML embed codes for reports are no longer generated. This will need to be fixed. By the way, you can use the old one that is already on your site.

With these things said, I will forward multiple tickets to our developers to have these issues resolved.

Also, the categories are showing up in the middle of the form results on the web page. Why is that?

The categories are displayed after a considerable amount of rows for reference. That is how the HTML table reporting featureworks.

If you don't quite like it, you may use the Grid Listing report instead.

    Best regards
