Field to enter the approved amount that is different from the requested amount.

The form I'm working on is a grant funding request. In some instances, we may approve a grant, but for a different dollar amount than requested. We are tracking the approved amount in the table with form results. Is there a way to pull that field value into the email sent upon approval? Or is there a better way to do that?

    Hi Amber,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you share the link to the form that you are working with? You may also add a field that will only be visible to your staff/approver, where they will enter the approved amount.

Here's a sample form I created, wherein the Approved Amount field and the Staff Comments field will only be visible once the submission is edited.

When form is filled out by the form user:

When the submission is edited by the Staff/Approver:

Here's the demo form that you can test and clone.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.
