Phone field: Limited to nine digits

The maximum total length for Germany phone numbers including area code is eleven digits. The Phone Picker is currently allowing 9, which makes it not usable for our customers in Germany.

Is this something that can be fixed soon?

The phone field does not have a limitation for its digits by default.

You're referring to the Phone basic component, while I was talking about the Phone Picker widget. The widget is giving us a country information so that we can't replace it easily with the basic Phone component. So, again, is there a chance that the length limit in the Phone Picker widget will be fixed soon?

We will have to submit a feature request to the development team. And see if the developers will implement this so that you can retrieve the two digit country code.
