I would like to include on my registration form a list of people who have already registered for my event. I would ask for permission first (of course). Ideally, jotform would be able to extract the info from previous submitions, and show them in a spinner or something like that. If that's not possible, I could update the list manually. The key is to have the object on screen within the form, but not be clickable or submitted with the rest of their details.

You can include them by manually adding to your form using our dropdown options (which is good, I think). However, they can be able to submit the selection together with the other questions.
I would suggest to create an HTML Listing Report, get the iframe codes and paste it to your webpage where the form embed codes is also place.
I am hoping that you get my point.

Thanks for the info. I was able to get it to work, but unfortunately, the HTML Report doesn't allow my to specify a condition. I basically need the list of all names with a specific value in another column. The report tool doesn't seem to provide for any conditional logic. However, using the embeded code approach, I can manually populate a 'select' box and keep updating it every few days. Unless, of course, you have another idea???
Thanks for your assistance.

Would the solution provided in this thread be a viable alternative?

Ah, never mind. That's pretty much what Welvin has already suggested!
