Ability to trim the leading and trailing spaces from field values

I am also looking forward to this feature that would enable trimming leading & trailing spaces from field values.

This feature is key because the existence of leading/trailing spaces causes the validation control that checks for unique input values to fail.

Any suggestion to plug this gap would be helpful.  Is there any way one can use Calculate Field feature to trim spaces from fields?  Just a thought.

Unfortunately, there are no built-in functions avaialble to trim the spaces using calculation widget. We are forwarding the thread to our backend team as a feature request for evaluation. Though we cannot provide any ETA at this moment, we'll be notifying you on this thread if there is any progress.
