    Form width

Asked by donamesbury on November 28, 2012 at 10:28 PM

I have built a form, set the width to 700px. placed form onto Dreamweaver page inside a <div> of 700px. The form appears fine on the dreamweaver page BUT when I select preview the Div appears the correct width ( I can tell by the background color) but the form only comes up around 200 wide. Any idea why?

I do have a second Jotform form on the same page. Can I be interfering with the other?

If you have access to my account under donamesbury@yahoo.com, the form is "rental property details"

Second question:  When building a form, how do I put two entries on the same line?

    Hello donamesbury.

Does this happen while only editing your page in dreamweaver or does this problem appear also after publishing the page?  Do you have the web page where you have embedded your form with?  Can you share with us the URL of the web page?

For your second question:  Select the field and then press right click or the properties icon (gear image) then select shrink

Once you have selected all the fields that you wish to sit side by side, select the 2nd field and then press right click or the proerties icon again.  This time, select Merge to above line.

Once you're done the form should appear something similar to this screenshot:
