Google Spreadsheet integration breaks if you add data validation for column

    I tried adding in data validation into my destination google spreadsheet. I have a status field, that on the form (a membership application form) is hidden and pre-populated with "PENDING".  Jotform initially populates our spreadsheet, but we'll have actual people updating information in some fields. Since we'll be driving emails in Mailchimp off these fields, it would be best to validate the data.

    I tried adding data validation to the status field, with "PENDING" as an option.  I also selected to accept invalid data.

    Once I did this, jotform would no longer update the google spreadsheet.  Even after I removed the data validation, it would still not update the spreadsheet. Removing and re-adding the integration itself creates a NEW spreadsheet (without data validation) that will show all past submissions and will update correctly.

    Any chance for a fix for this?  Our only other option right now is to have someone manually type in the values we want and hope for the best (some of them are phrases)

    Can you provide a screen as to how you've setuped the data validation? Please note that our Google Spreadsheet doesn't support auto-validations or formulas after the form is submitted, currently. The data will be be submitted to spreadsheet but validations will be skipped. Which means the submissions submitted to spreadsheet starts on the row from where the validation ends. Screen.

    However, I'll forwarded this issue to our developers so they can check on it. We'll update you here once we have something to report. Unfortunately we can not provide any ETA, rest assured they'll be notified about this.
