    Hello,

When my form is submitted, it doesn't show the link to the uploaded file in the email back to me. It's just a blank field. Thanks

    Rich

    Hi there

You need to add your image to your notifications.

Click on the "E-mail alerts" icon and make the changes on the wizard.  Here is an image to help you change the current settings on your notification:

In order to add the highlighted tag {IMG:uploadAbstract} simply click on the corresponding field from the options on the right.

Give this a try and let su know if you need further assistance!

    Hi there,

I added {IMG:uploadAbstract}  and it still doesn't include the link inside my email.

    Hi there,

My apologies. can you please add {uploadAsbstract} tag as well and do a test?

I have tested and it works well.

Note:  You need to do this to all notifications.  If one odf them doesn't have it, it will not receive the link.

Give it a try and let us know if that helps!

PS. Word documents are now also being saved with the extension .docx

    Hi Eduardo,

I added the the other tag and it still doesn't work on this end. When I get the email, I don't get the link to take me to that document. You said that I need to do this to all notifications and this is the only one I have besides the autoresponder.

    Hi rockroll,

Have you tried already re-creating new form notification for your form? If not, can you please give a try and delete your current form notification. However, if the said issue still persist, do let us know.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

OK, so I just re-created the form and it's working. However I did that yesterday and ot worked but as soon as I added some custom text it didn't work anymore. So now I will attempt to add the text

"An abstract has been submitted for the WONTON 2013 Conference. Below is the latest submission. You may view all submissions at http://www.jotform.com/submissions/23304185819152" to the top of the page.

    Hi there,

OK so I create the form 3 more times and when I add the code to it, it immediately doesn't send the document link.

Could you please add this into the notification email:

<p>An abstract has been submitted for the WONTON 2013 Conference. Below is the latest submission. You may view all submissions at <a target="_blank" href="http://www.jotform.com/submissions/23304185819152" >http://www.jotform.com/submissions/23304185819152</a></p>

thanks, when I do it, it removes the link in the table as well as the variable type of abstract. Thankyou

I wonder if there is some kind of issue with the embedded form.

Can you try doing a test from this form URL?

    http://www.jotform.us/form/23304185819152

Let us know how that goes.

Now that worked and it proves that it's my embedded form. Sorry guys for the headaches and many thanks for your help.
