How to set entry limits

how can i get them to work? please!

If you are referring to the entry limits of a Long or a Short Text Entry field, you may configure it via the field properties. The limit can be set in words or letters.

I was confused.  I was looking to limit the number of volunteers for a specific assignment.  However, upon further review, I don't think this has the capacity I need for a school fundraiser with no funds to spend on a program.

If I understand correctly, you must be referring to having some sort of inventory/slot limited option on the form.

The widget will allow you to have items with quantity on them in the form that diminishes when used/selected.
