How does the authorize.net integration work?

All I need is for my client to put in the total and their information. How do I link it to my authorize.net account?

I also host my website with Volusion, I don't know if that is needed knowledge or not. 

Also what happens to all of the information that my clients are uploading(card information), does JotForm have record of them? Do they disappear after like 30 days?

The credit card information is passed to Authorize.net, and it is not saved in our side, because collecting sensitive information goes against our terms of use.
