I have a graphic that needs to be "marked up" in various ways depending on the contract. Think of it as a custom map to a specific location on our property. I am looking for a way for this markup to occur within the form - is that possible? I need the markup to remain intact with the image and not come out as separate fields.
Any thoughts?

We have the same widget that you might like https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/draw_on_image.
Anyway, if you want to use your own interactive image, it would require integration if you want the marked-up image to come as an image in the email. Might be possible when you use your form source code and insert custom script in it.

I saw that but I think I read that the markups 1) don't allow text and 2) aren't bound together in the form submission.
I basically want to upload a single image of a map and allow digital markup. Sounds like that is not possible.

You're right it doesn't allow text but it would come as an image on email.
Right, there's currently no widget with that functionality.
Anyway, I have raised this as a feature request. Once this is added in the future, we will let you know. I guess this one is a good example of how you'd like it to work http://nhnent.github.io/tui.image-editor/latest/tutorial-example01-includeUi.html
