I would like to format a "Long Text Entry" question to make it easier to read.

Ideally, I would like to show a list of items in the question but it doesn't allow using extra spaces, or using tabs to create a list.

Unfortunately, we cannot edit the question label to show spaces and tabs.

You can however, edit the format using the text field element.

Then add add a text field either short text or long text to get the answer.

That worked!  If I understand your response, you can't use both the Text and Long Text Entry elements at the same time.  This was a good work-around.  Thanks for your help!
