Hi,
Haow can I pre-fill a form field based on previous recorded field.
e.g form field is "Equipe N°"
Last entry "Equipe N°" field has n°20 as value and I want to pre-fill form with "21" when displaying new input screen ? Can I access databse records to get theses data to be used for new entries ?

I am not sure if I understand your query correctly. Do you mean to add an increment number to one of your fields? If so, please check the Unique ID widget with autoincrements for each submissions. Please refer to the guide below that can help you with this.

Hope this information helps! Let us know if you are referring something different. We will be happy to help.

Hi Kiran,
The uniqueID widget seems to fit my needs to increment entries, however, I can't succeed using this field data to build a subsequent field in my database using any kind of rules ( copy field or calculate field ) in the form ! Any hint ?
does not copy anything !
Does it mean that uniqueID is a kind of protected field ?

OK, I have found the solution using the widget "Submissions Counter" instead wich makes it 100%.
Thanks

Great! Glad to see that the submissions counter widget works for you. The unique ID widget generates the number only after submitting the form and the field data cannot be displayed on the form.
