New Option: Equals to the List

Asked by winsberry on December 11, 2012 at 03:47 AM

    Hello,

Is there any option to make condition Equals to the List?

Let say, this form will be submit if filled phone numbers OR emails will be Equal to the List:

    #NUMBER1

    #NUMBER2

    #NUMBER3

    #NUMBER10000...

Is it possible? If so, please, inform how?

If not, can you please, make it possible?

    Thanks!

Hello winsberry.  Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding you here.  You have a list of phone numbers and/or emails and you want that if the field matches a certain value on your list, it will allow to be submitted, otherwise, not.  Yes?

If so, unfortunately, it will take a huge load on your form to do this.  So the best solution so far is making a customized function for this which is outside JotForm.  Can you provide us the link to your form and share with us more details on how you wish for it to function?

    Thanks.

Thank you for your response, winsberry.  The possible way to do this is using conditions on your form.  Although it would be difficult if you have a very huge list.

If your list is on a database somewhere (such as MySQL), it would be possible to consider using full customization where it will use AJAX.  Will this be fine?

    Hi,

Please check this guide -How-to-Hide-or-Show-Multiple-Fields-at-Once-Based-On-a-Single-Conditional-Entry .

You can match 1 is to many fields at once using a condition using this guide.

Please inform us if this not what you need.

    Thanks.

Hello winsberry.  Can you provide a list or share a link how your list looks like?  If it's under a database, at least a structure would be fine. I'll try to make first a demo form out of your form then give you the instructions how.

    Thanks.
