On Friday I was working on an application for FDHE and went to lunch but came back to find my application was still active, so I continued to work on it. I assumed (maybe incorrectly) that because I had walked away before and resumed the process that I could revisit it Monday. The application is gone. Because there is no login associated with it, I assume now that the work is gone permanently. Please let me know if this is true or if there is a way to recover the work I did.

If you were filling out a form, depending on settings, browser cache form data for a period of time. If the form is cleared, that cached data has now been cleared and cannot be recovered. It would indeed require reentering the data.
