Paypal - Unexpected field values

When I sell something using PayPal, the field that comes back
    contains unexpected information. For instance,
if I am selling tickets and I want to send an e-mail confirmation
of the number of tickets, I have no way of doing that
without the e-mail including the information seen below:

    ==Payer Info==

    First Name David
    Last Name Michaels

I realize that someone mighrt want that extra information for some purpose, but it
should not be altering the value of a form field. If you want to provicde that info
it should be returned to the user in a new field, not by altering an existing field.

Ideally, the ProductID and the Quantity should be returned separately, but if that's not
possible, certainly it should not be tainted with additional information that has nothing
to do with the field value.

A sample of the Thank You e-mail is attached. It looks pretty awful with all that extra info.
    All reports are similarly affected.

Thank you for your suggestion. We have this feature because people have been asking about the data returned from PayPal. But I agree it does not look very good. We will consider changing it or possibly keeping it on another field.

Any idea of when this change might be made? Surely I'm not the only one who needs to have the payment information cleaned up. The current behavior makes the payment info unusable for adding up or for inclusion in an e-mail thanking someone for or confirming the details of their order.

We have not decided to make such change. Since this feature (including the paypal details on the payment question) was asked a lot of users we will probably keep it and not make the request you make. But we will also try to find a new solution, such as splitting the information to a new field. It is something our developers will decide after discussing this request. If/when we make a change, I will post an update here. Thanks.

By the way, one of our developers seem to have posted a comment in this thread. He worked on this request and made sure "Address will not be displayed anymore if it's missing on the info." That should at least partially help you since you do not need the empty address fields.
