    CSS customization: Form and field alignment

    Asked by emarrufo on December 26, 2012 at 03:56 AM

    My form seems to be justified right when I see it in my wordpress blog, with a margin on the left.

    I need it to left justified like the rest of the text. This is important because part of it gets cut off on a mobile phone.

    Would like to lift justify so client will not need to use the slide bar or pinch to view all of the form completely.

    Thank you,

    Rick

    Hi Rick,

    To left-align your form fields, please inject the following CSS codes to your form.

    .form-all {

    float: left;

    }

    .form-buttons-wrapper{

    margin-left: 0 !important;

    }

    Follow this guide: How to Inject Custom CSS Codes to your Form

    Hello Rick.  Upon checking idarktech's code, it may have some display issues on other browsers such as the lower part of the form being cut off.  So you can use this instead:

    .form-all {
          margin-left: 8px;
    }

    Please let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.

    Thanks guys that worked out better.

    If I can ask another question here, in payment method is there a way to line up the paypal radio button & logo underneath or above the credit cards logo?

    One more thing I just love this way of commutation with support, it is simple, easy and a lot less complicated!

    Again Thanks

    Rick

    I'll be glad to assist you.

    What do you mean by 2nd one?

    I have one form called “Price-list-premium” and the code worked for this
    form OK.
    I have a 2nd form called “Star Rating Option” and the same code did not
    work on this form.
    I tried removing all code, saving it, closing it logged off and back in
    tried again and still will not work on the 2nd form.
    Hope this clears things, sorry.
    I really appreciate you time and help!

    Hi Rick,

    Thanks for the clarification.

    Your 2nd form has different Paypal field ID, try this codes:

    #input_3_paymentType_express, #input_3_paymentType_express + label{

    position:relative;

    top:30px;

    left:-257px;

    }

    #creditCardTable{

    margin-top: 29px !important;

    }

    The second css should also fixed the credit card table display because the paypal logo covers the credit card title when CC is selected.

    Thanks!
