We are pleased that switching old version solves the issue you have been experiencing. However, could you please answer the following questions:
1. Did you run into any other problem with PDF Editor?
2. Is there anything that you couldn’t figure out?
3. Is there any suggestion you can make to improve the things for you?

The new PDF editor is completely unusable and I'm waiting for you to fix it.
What I can not understand is why Jotform continues to push this. It was not even close for release.
