No Confirmation Email Received Because Of Jotform/PayPal Bug?

    We have a NYE form setup ( with an auto responder notification for when people pay.

    However noone is getting the notifications.

    I've put a test payment through and I haven't received anything.

    I read through various forum threads which said I need to manually approve payments if PayPal hasn't approved them automatically.

    However mine went through fine, it didn't show up in th incomplete payment section, and I still didn't get a thank you email.

    Any reason why this is not working?

    Hello Andrew, I have tested your form and I can currently see that there is something wrong with the setup of your notification and autoresponder. I did some testing with 2 new notifications that I added to further test it (Notification 2 and Autoresponder 2 on my end) and they both came through.

    This leads me to believe that they may have modified something incorrectly on your end which caused this problem of yours. I also checked to see if your own notifications were the result of you being in our bouncelist but I saw that this was not the case. A recommended way to correct this is that I would like for you remove and rebuild them peice by peice but make sure you clone your form first so that you have a backup of the original. Something important you will want to do is to make sure is that in each you include the Form Field's Value in the Email Notification and Autoresponder setup to coincide with what you want to recieve as well as what you want to show.


    Both are customizable but I would also like to refer you to these 3 guides to get a better understanding of their usage and how to set them up.
