When choosing the product, various options should present themselves, while others are hidden. However, what actually happens is that all options are shown when I preview it.

Can you please provide us your Form URL/ID for us to check your form's conditions?
- cloudyskyleatherworksAnswered on January 02, 2013 at 06:24 PM
The form URL is http://form.jotform.us/form/30008316338143. When the first option is selected, these should only be a couple elements shown below it, not all of them.

You may want to check this guide -How-to-Hide-or-Show-Multiple-Fields-at-Once-Based-On-a-Single-Conditional-Entry . You will use the collapse field instead of the header field.
Please inform us if you require further assistance doing this.

This is useful information, but it does not solve my problem. I realized that if I have everything hidden except "products" when "products" is empty, then when a product is selected, I can't keep anything hidden even if the conditions indate that it should be. Also, I set the conditions for the first 4 product options. For all of their conditions, I have it set so that all of the form elements with "3" in it are hidden, but they're showing in the first three products and hidden in the fourth. Can you please give me a number I can call to get help? Or call my cell at 443.852.7192. Using the forum is far too inefficient. I'm sure we can get this fixed in no time. Thanks

Unfortunately, we do not have a voice contact center to handle your concern via phone.
I'm not sure I'm understanding properly what you're trying to do with the form. Can you please enumerate the details or at least an brief detail of what should be hiding/appearing when a product is selected or no product is selected?
- cloudyskyleatherworksAnswered on January 03, 2013 at 03:26 PM
I'm trying to set it up so that when no product is selected, all form elements except the products element are hidden. Also, when a product is selected, there are specific elements hidden and specific elements showing. I've set up conditions for the first 4 products on the form, but the form is not following these conditions. If you can see the conditions I set, you will see that they do not match up with the form.

I don't mean to rude, but this forum business is nonsense. Its taking me days for my simple problem to be fixed when it would take just minutes over the phone.

The key to this is that once a SHOW condition is attached to an element, it will be hidden by default. So, there should be no need for all those HIDE conditions but I'll have to examine the form more closely and return with a solution, unless my colleagues come up with their own solutions first.

Here is a sample form (clone of yours)
Please note that each field is numbered.
Can you please provide a written list of what you need the conditions to look?
if choice X then show 1, 2, 3,
We'll be glad to help you get this working!

I didn't realize they would hide automatically. It helps to know that. "Here is a sample form (clone of yours)" Where? If you can see the conditions I set for the first 4 products (not what is actually on the form), you can see what I want hidden and what I want shown for those options. Thank you for being attentive and helpful.

I will be glad to look into it for you.
It would, however, be much more helpful if you can please provide a list following the format mentioned.

I figured out what was wrong. I was using the same form elements for multiple products, which your system doesn't like because it has all of these automatic conditions that are put in place when something is shown/hidden. It would be a lot easier and take me much much less time (at least for what I'm using it for) if these automations were not in place. Thank you for your help though.
