    PayPal - payment

Asked by tradeallies on January 04, 2013 at 12:38 AM

Hi I had a form so people could enter the invoice number of their bill (that i would email to them prior to them paying via PayPal) and also enter the amount they wanted to pay and then get redirected to PayPal to make the payment.  It is now sending me the payment as a "donation" which PayPal is not liking.  Infact they suspended my account.  How can i make it so its not product, subscription or donation - its more a service or paying a bill - how can i do this with Jotform?

Hello Ian.  Upon checking your account, it shows that it's because of the donation field that you're using.  I'm suspecting that Paypal had suspected your payments due to the phrase "As agreed" as its product item that appears.

You can probably change the label to something more valid-sounding such as 'Bill Amount', rather than 'As Agreed'.

Have you already tried to contact Paypal about this?
