Salesforce integration doesn't go through if Lead has duplicate name

    Hi Jotform,

I have an integration that creates a lead record on Salesforce upon submission. I notice that if my there is an existing lead name on Salesforce, the form wouldn't go through. However, I know I can create 2 identical lead records on Salesforce. There's no error message so I can't tell for sure.

Can you check to see if there's a problem with this?

SalesForce has standard matching rules that are used by the Integration to identify duplicate entries. So as you mentioned above the lead will not go through if it is duplicate. To fix this you have to edit the matching rules within SalesForce.

    Refer to this guide: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=matching_rules_create.htm&type=0

For more information on how the matching rules are used by the integration, refer to this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/394-SalesForce-Duplicate-Checking
