Why was my intake form emailed to me???

Asked by ablank on January 06, 2013 at 10:11 PM

I was testing my Intake Form, which I have embedded into a website I'm working on.  I filled out the form and verified that I could retrieve the responses from your site.  I then deleted my response and made some modifications to the form and re-embedded it.  I am embedding it using a very short HTML code that points to your website.  I was surprised (shocked actually) when my responses were emailed to my email address.  I never indicated that I wanted that to happen.  In fact, I chose "No" in the box next to Email Results.  The information we are collecting on the intake form is very sensitive.  The form is supposed to be SSL, encrypted, etc.

Can you please respond and tell me what setting I chose that would result in my form being emailed to me "via amazonses.com"?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

That's because every form has its default notification which has the recipient email address that is associated with your account. If you don't like to get responses via E-mail. You should delete your form notification. Here's how: How to Delete Notifications/Autoresponder

    Thanks!
