Is there anyway to have the information that is entered on forms automa

Is there a method to have the information that is entered in forms automatically and downloaded into a spreadsheet? When I use Google forms, that process happens automatically so I know. The form and the spreadsheet are linked in Google forms and that ensure that I'm calling the most current information.
