How to allow the user to select different names from a field

PLEASE HELP

im trying to make a register; with a checkbox for attendance and a textbox for additional notes

but i cant put different names on multiple rows :(

In order to allow the users to select one student, you may consider using dropdown field in the widget. Please see the screenshot below:

You may add the following option to the Configurable list widget to add the dropdown field.

Student Name: dropdown: John Doe, Jane Doe : Select Student
