Submissions Page: PDF Download buttons inconsistency

    Good morning.

Our team has a forms area from which we download submissions in PDF format.  There are 2 download options (pictured in attachment) that seem to be working a bit differently than they had in the past.  When we use the PDF button in the top of the image (preferred) it now prints all submissions in our list rather than just the one we have selected.  If we have 5 submissions total in this forms area and use that top button, all 5 download as one form.  We noticed that if we use the button in the bottom of the image the desired form is the only one that will download, but this presents another problem.  The form we use has several conditions.  For instance if you answer yes additional options may display or not display.  When using the PDF button at the bottom all questions on the form print rather than just the ones that applied when the form was completed.

Does it seem like these 2 buttons are working as designed?  We are open to using either button, but ideally we would have an option to download a PDF that displays only the questions that applied when the form was completed and that download would include only the one form selected.

Please let me know if additional detail is needed.

    Thank you.

That's odd, the way that they are acting right now according to your description is not how it is supposed to be. The PDF button at the top should only download the selected submission, and the one at the bottom should download all in one zipped file.

I just tested the button with one of my test forms, and they worked correctly. The form that you are sharing has not received any submissions yet, could you please let us know what is the exact form that contains the submission data, and the PDF button behaves differently? Also, have you tried clearing your browser's cache, or using a different browser?

Hello.  I have tested in both Chrome and IE.  I have to apologize, I described the issue incorrectly in the first message.  I have attached additional images.  In both Chrome and IE, the PDF button at the top of the submissions page generates a form that includes all of the conditional questions rather than only those answered/needed. This is turning a one page form into 4+ pages when downloaded.

The button at the bottom generates a zipped file which includes all submissions in the list rather than just the one selected.  These forms do download in the desired format, however.

It is showing that way because that's the layout of the new PDF editor. It will show all the Text and Header fields. If you want to show only the fields that were answered(as in the second image), you may delete the unwanted fields from the template:
