Pre-populated fields in auto responder email link

I'm having difficulty implementing pre-populated fields in an auto-responder email link and need your assistance.

Here's what I'm trying to do.  As part of a multi-step vendor approval process, I have new vendors first apply for consideration in a separate form.  We review and decide whether or not to approve them.  If we choose to approve them, then our admin completes this form:

When submitted, this generates an auto-response that emails to the approved vendor letting them know that they have been approved.  This email contains a unique link to a form where they can submit their content so that we can get them set-up to start selling their products.  Here is an example of one such unique link as it's currently being generated:

What I'd like to do is to append to this link specific information from the form that the Admin completes, so that these values will be pre-populated for the approved vendor so that they don't need to enter this information again when completing their unique form.  Not just a convenience, this ensures that we're on the same page with the vendor as to which of their products are approved and which are not, since only approved products will be pre-populated.

The entries that i'd like to pre-populate (i.e. carry over from the first unique form to the second unique form) are as follows:

    Approved Product Count

    Product 1

    Product 2

    Product 10

I've attempted to follow your other FAQs and comments to accomplish this, but have not had success.  It looks like it is achievable, and even fairly straight forward, but I can't seem to get it done.

I could use your assistance with explicit instruction on how to accomplish what I'm looking to do.

    Hi Ben,

You might be referring to this: How to Add a Submissions Status. Please check and let us know if I've missed something.

That's a useful tip, but I actually wasn't concerned with adding a submission status.

Let me be more clear about my issue.

I am using a series of forms to facilitate a vendor approval process. First vendors submit an inquiry for review. Upon review our admin completes a brief form ( results in an email alert notification going out to an approved vendor that they are "approved". From this form, I would like to pull data from some of the fields to pre-populate in the form that is going out to the approved vendor to complete (

Specifically, the admin approves a specific subset of products and the names of those products need to be pre-populated in the approved vendor's form so that they know for which products they are approved and should enter in additional information.

I have reviewed your FAQs on appending to the url in order to help make this type of thing work  (, but I can't seem to get it to work as it should in my case.

Here is a list of the form fields that I'd like to reference and have pre-populate in the new form:

In the same order, here are the IDs for the fields into which I would like this data to be populated:

{companyName} should populate into the textbox

    {approvedProducts} should populate into the textbox "<input type="number" class="form-textbox validate[Numeric]" id="input_54" name="q54_approvedProducts" size="5" value="1" maxlength="2" />

    Product 1 {61} should populate into <label class="form-label-top" id="label_61" for="input_61"> Product 1 </label>

and should also populate into <div class="form-single-column"><span class="form-checkbox-itemstyle="clear:left;"><input type="checkboxclass="form-checkboxid="input_51_0name="q51_approvedProduct51[]"value="Use Product Name From Approved Product List" />  <label for="input_51_0"> Use Product Name From Approved Product List</label></span><spanclass="clearfix"></span>

And so on for the other 19 products (populating each in two locations in the second spreadsheet).

Can you please help me out with the syntax for how to edit my URL in my auto-response email to achieve the desired result?  Thanks!

As far as I know, 'session + prepopulation' will not work together.

Is that acceptable to use only propopulation in your case?

    Thank you.
