In dropdown list field make the searched option move to the top

When using the drop down list option in the configurable list is it possible to have the options that you've search for move to appear at the top or closest to the search box?

Unfortunately the Dropdown list does not function that way.

You can only click/select the option from the lists and it will only be added to the box after you click/select.

I think the functionality you are looking for was the one of the Autocomplete widget.
