    Can I get some help with some CSS

    Asked by cgnz on January 20, 2013 at 05:11 PM

    With the form at the link below, I would like to achieve the following:

    Have all Text Box's the same width

    Have all Text Area's the same width

    I would like to lessen the 'buffer area' around the Text boxes in the matrix's (it will make my PDF form look neater)

    Also with the top matrix ("Detail") , how can I lesson the width of the text field?

    Many thanks in advance

    You can add this code to specify the widht of textbox and textarea

    .form-textbox,.form-textarea{width:400px;} -- 400px is just a sample (change it to what you need)

    In your already existing CSS code, you can set the padding to zero(0) to furhter lessen the buffer you were refering to. Look for this part of the code in your existing code for the matrix table

    padding-left: 1px;padding-right: 1px;

    As for the width of the matrix column headers, they acutally go with the widht of the input textboxes field in the matrix (if you resize the textbox in the matrix they column headers will also go with it.)

    Hope this help. Please inform us if you have further inquiry.
