Changing the background of a field

    Hello,

    I would like to change the background of the button SUBMIT.

    I did my website with the software Muse.

    Everything works perfectly. Only this little thing. I have already a SUBMIT button (Special Background) on my website, so i would like to place the JOTFORM submit button just on the top of my website button but without his background.

    I suppose it is possible because you propose several customised button for SUBMIT. How can I do it ?

    Thank you for your answer.

    Hi Nicolas,

    You can do that by injecting custom CSS codes to your form. Please let us know the webpage URL where the form is placed so we can check and proceed.

    Thanks

    Hello,
    Thank you for your answer.
    I have a website WWW.CARREGE.FR but I am modifying this one and so It is not on line at this time.
    I have Dreamwaver perhaps I could upload my form on Dreamwaver. Doing the modifications on CSS sheets and then going back to JOTFORM
    The problem is that I cannot figure out how with dreamwaver I will obtain just the line code.

    Where do I get this sentence that I copy and insert after on my website ?
    Best regards.

    Hello Mr « PINOYTECH »,
    My form is on line www.carrege.fr.
    Go to the page “Reservation”.
    I would like the button “SUBMIT” , “ENVOYER” in French with the same background as the second button “Accueil”.
    I don’t if it is possible, I have tried to set an image instead of a background but I failed.
    So if you know how to do, I will be glad to get the solutions.
    Thank you for your answer.

    @CARREGE

    There's a button in the form builder to use an image in place of the form's submit button. Please see obi-wan's post in this thread for details.

    We're always here if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.

    Hello Abajan,
    I have tried but without any success.
    Probably there is a special syntax,(something like The problem is that I don’t know HTML language very well and also PHP language.
    It is the reason why I was interested in Jotform. So I understand I don’t have the choice, if I want a personal touch on my website, I have to learn PHP language.
    Thank you for your help.
    Have a nice day.

    Hi Nicolas,

    Me again. Can you try creating the same image as this one:

    But the text should be Envoyer, upload it to your website, get the link and follow this:

    1. Open your form
    2. Click on "Submit Button" field
    3. Click on "Button Image" button on the tab which will appear
    4. Insert the URL of the submit button on the box provided

    That is basically changing the Jotform submit button to your own custom submit button.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    There was just a problem with your Submit Button Image URL. I have now fixed it for your convenience. Please check your form now.

    You are using:

    http://www.carrege.fr/images/boutonaccueil-u6229png

    Instead of:

    http://www.carrege.fr/images/boutonaccueil-u6229.png

    There should be a dot "." after before png

    Here's how it looks now.

    Thanks!

    Hello EltonCris,
    Thank you very much. Sorry for this mistake of typing.
    So we are nearly at the end ! Except that I have to remove the white back ground colour around the button ENVOYER.
    And also try to place it in harmony with the other button.
    I have noticed that it was possible to place it on the right, left, or center position.
    But with CSS codes is it possible to be more precise ?
    I have opened it with DREAMWAVER and I have seen the access to the style sheet Nova was impossible.
    Thank you again and have a nice day.

    Hi,

    The white background around your button isn't from CSS or any codes, it is within your button image. But since I know a little bit about Photoshop stuff, I have corrected it for you. Use this button instead: https://cms.jotform.com/uploads/image_upload/image_upload/global/12970_button.png

    --

    Positioning the submit button is pretty easy. You can play with this CSS codes.

    .form-submit-button{

    position: relative;

    top: -20px;

    left: -200px;

    }

    Remember that changing the default CSS codes may affect the display on different browsers so I would still recommend to use the defined submit button position which are left, right and center instead of using CSS codes. This is to avoid issues when viewed on different browsers. Thanks!

    Hello,
    Ok great, thanks a lot.
    I agree about the browsers so I won’t touch that.
    Thanks a lot for your help, I will go on using Jotform.
    Before trying to use your link, I will try to correct button on PHOTOSHOP.
    A la prochaine (See you next time).
