Advice on using social login plugin with Jotform

    I am using a 4 step form which is fully prepared using jotform. Following is an overview of the workflow of the form

    Step 1 - User selects from a list of features

    Step 2 - User see some basic content based on his/her selection in step 1 (step 1 and step 2 are connected - I have used conditions to show customised content) 

    Step 3 - User fills a basic form (Just fills in name, email address, telephone and company details) to see advanved content 

    Step 4 - User sees advanced content which is based on his/her selection in step 1 and is continuation of step 2 (In other words step has some restricted content which is shown in step 4 after a user shares his/her details)


    What I would like to do is at step 3 - I would like to provide 2 options to my online visitors/users - one is to login via LinkedIn (or any other major social network - facebook etc) and second is to fill in the standard basic form (as mentioned in step 3 above). To clarify, I intend to give an either-or option = Login with LinkedIn or Fill out the form. 

    Additionally, the essential bits are an email is sent to the user who fills the form or logs in via linkeIn. 

    I would also like an email with info on who has registered on the website and the content that they have seen in step 4. 

    All my workflow is built with Jotform (except social login) and I would like to incorporate the social login into the above workflow. 

    The challenge in the above workflow is if a user logs in with LinkedIn then the email address and contact details for the user will sit in a separate database (either with social login plugin/ my website) and not with Jotform. i.e. the user will not get an email with the advanced content that they see in step 4 and I will also not get an email for a new user registration from jotform. 

    Are you aware of any specific social login plugin that fits into the above/your workflow. 

    I am looking for some advice on the right way to approach and implement the above workflow. 

    My past experiences with your support has been amazing so I thought I would ask you guys for some advice.

    Hi there, 

    Have you looked at our Facebook integration?

    You are able to have your user log into his/her facebook account before they can press the submit button.

    Once they are logged in, your form can automatically gather the personal information from their account.

    Hi Prasanna,

    Unfortunately we do not have integration with LinkedIn. The only social network integration we may have is Facebook. Hopefully more integrations will be coming soon but that still depends on the number of user request.
