    I have setup my form to submit data for integration with a mysql database.

    However, some of the field names that jotform exports are hard to work with as they are very similar to other fields.

    Anyway to customize the names that are exported?

    For example, my form asks the four following consecutive questions;

     Rate Your English Oral Skills

     Rate Your English Written Skills

      Rate Your French Oral Skills

     Rate Your French Written Skills

    and the field names exported are

    [rateyour38] => 7

    [rateyour33] => 7

    [rateyour] => 7

    [rateyour35] => 7

    Its tough to work with these names especially when you need to come back months later and make changes.

    Thank,

    Hi Eric,

    The fields input id# and names are system generated (using the form builder). It is not possible to change them on the builder. And if you do try change them in the form's source code , there is a high risk of breaking the form code and having it disconnected on the back-end system.

    Usually, the field input id# and input names are created in sequence number plus the label name.

    The most I can suggest to make it a bit easier when maintaining those codes, is to make the labels name as related as possible, and add the fields in sequence (top to bottom).

    Please inform us if you have further input/ideas also.

    Thanks.
