Will Paypal redirect customers to thank you page after completing the payment?

    I see that after someone clicks submit then it will take them to PayPal's website, where they will put their credit card info. After the money is processed, will it take them to the thank you page that we designed for our form? Thanks.

    Yes, they will be redirected to the thank you message or page of the form after the payment is completed. For the new Paypal payment process, a new Return to Merchant button is also provided for users to manually click.

    So it will not take them to directly without clicking to the thank you page because I have a confirmation number that they need to see?

    Let me double check for you. I believe the auto redirect is available in the Paypal Standard integration. You just need to enable that on your Paypal account, so forms will also redirect.

    Yes, the guide that I have given you is the correct settings to auto redirect people to the thank you page of the form. Please enable that, you can add your website link in the box. That is just a placeholder URL since the form will override that.

    The "The page you're looking for is no longer available" also shows on my end.

    When I go on the website it allows me to insert a link to which the PayPal will redirect the customers, however, there is no URL for my thank you page. It is important for the customer to see my thank you page because they are able to see their confirmation number which is vital due to record purposes.

    Have you tried my colleague demo form? Is that what you want to achieve?

    However, if you want to redirect the user to another URL once they create a transaction, it will redirect users to the URL you entered into Paypal. You can not redirect your form/Paypal to two URLs or thank you pages at the same time.

    Please explain your requirements in details so we can give you a detailed answer to your issue.

    Can you go to https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-display-handler&tab_id=SELLER_PREFERENCES? Please try. In this page, you should be able to find the Return URL. If not, I would suggest reaching out Paypal support and ask them to enable this for you.
