Exclude already chosen item from later options

Is there a way to exclude a choice from a dropdown menu or single choice question once it has been chosen one time?  For example, I'd like to know a person's first, second and third choices for a location but want their selections to not be an option in subsequent fields.  And would that feature work in both the classic form and the card form?
